Giving a special book…to yourself or someone else? Make it even more special! My handmade bookmarks are made from batiked teabags and feature ragged bottoms and a bejeweled tassel.

Each bookmark measures approximately 1 5/8" x 5".

My bookmarks are made from upcycled teabags that have been boiled for sterilization but still retain traces of tea stain. Each bookmark is an original piece of art, and as such no two are alike. Imperfections such as small holes, uneven or torn edges, and spatter are intrinsic to the process. Being teabags, they are surprisingly strong yet still delicate and should be handled with care.

Tassels should dangle over edge so that the bookmarks lie flat and leave no marks or indentations on pages.

Warning: These bookmarks are not intended for children. They are mixed media art created with dyes, wax, and small beads and should not be swallowed or ingested. They should be kept out of the reach of children.
