Send me two or three photographs of something you cherish. Maybe it's an old book, a vase, a bottle of perfume, a vintage figurine, a special piece of clothing, a garden, a pet. Keep the shots as straightforward and clean as possible, with as little background distraction as you can. If you care to, give me the back story...why it has meaning to you. I'll keep that in mind as I choose one photo and transform it into a piece of photo encaustic art...a true original, one of a kind.
This is something new I've been doing and am now excited to offer here. The photos shown are examples of pieces I've made for other people to see if the concept works. It does! That said, I reserve the right to let you know if the images you've sent just won't result in a pleasing piece of art. Remember, the simpler the better. Also, please do not send photographs of a piece of art that you or someone else has made.
