Working on a wood panel and using a combination of blow torch, heat iron, and heat gun, I fuse multiple layers of molten beeswax mixed with damar resin, adding both powdered and liquid pigment, and I do some spontaneous mark-making along the way. The result is an original piece of abstract representational fine art with luminous texture and depth.
My paintings have been described as sensual and raw, with palpable physicality, color, and texture.
