My "Vessels" collection of six 5.5" x 4 1/4" notecards features Gicleé prints of my photo encaustic art.

Vessels for such tangibles as coffee, tea, lemonade, cocoa, soup, or batter are also metaphors for intangibles such as comfort, warmth, refreshment, nostalgia, and ritual.

Each notecard features a minimalist and/or asymmetrical design. I think the modern layout draws the eye and gives the artwork a unique, artistic feel. The contrast between the classic subject matter and the contemporary design adds another layer of interest.

I've printed the cards on 100% cotton rag archival paper with archival inks. They are blank inside, and each is accompanied by a white envelope.

Each card is protected by a clear sleeve, and together they are packaged in a sweet, handmade, belly-banded folio made from contrasting sheets of Canson Mi-Teintes French paper.

These all-occasion cards are perfect for personal notes, and the thoughtfully packaged set makes a truly special gift.
