It's D-Day!
December 1st, that is...my self-imposed deadline for launching MAKE ART IN L.A.!
As of today, we have 11 fantastic workshops scheduled with several more in the works! Book arts, paste papers, jewelry making, watercolor, and encaustic...a varied and veritable feast to dive into.
My dream, my vision, was to create a win/win/win for everyone involved...provide talented artist instructors with more visibility and venues, creative L.A. peeps with more live workshops, and me with the satisfaction of pulling it, and everyone, all together. I didn't realize how much fun it would be meeting with all the extraordinary artists and brainstorming workshops with them...I'm more inspired than ever and can't wait to get this party started!
I keep hearing a voice in my head...wait, it's Kevin Costner's voice. "If you build it, they will come." It's from Field of Dreams, and what he actually said was "If you build it, he will come," but it's close enough for me. So, I built it, and now it's up to YOU. Please come, and spread the word!
